Having joined Longview in 2012, Alex spent eight years working as a Research Analyst before becoming CIO in 2021.

Prior to this, Alex spent four years working as a Research Analyst at Sloane Robinson focusing on Asian equities.

Alex obtained an MEng in Engineering Science from Christ Church, Oxford University.

Having joined Longview in 2002, Paul was a Research Analyst for 19 years before becoming Head of Research in 2021. Before this, Paul worked for a year at Oxford Analytica as a consultant.

Paul obtained his MSci in Physics from Imperial College, London.

Prior to joining Longview in 2022, Jacob spent four years at Cantillon Capital Management, a global equity manager. Prior to that, Jacob spent three years at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division. Jacob obtained a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Warwick.

Prior to joining Longview in 2021, Tom worked for Westray Capital Management, an investment management firm focused on a fundamental long/short equity strategy, where he was a Partner for five years.

Before this, Tom was an Investment Professional on the public equities team at Man GLG, for two years and a Private Equity Investment Professional at TPG Capital, a private equity firm focused on leveraged buyouts, for three years.

He started his career at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division. Tom obtained the following academic qualifications: a post-graduate qualification in Management and Finance from Sciences Po Paris, an MSc in Management from IAE Lyon and an MSc in Computer Science from the Warsaw University of Technology.

Prior to joining Longview in 2014, Katie spent three years working as an Equity Research Analyst at Rothschild.

Prior to that, she spent two years in the Financial Institutions M&A team at Rothschild and two years at Linklaters, on a legal training contract.

Katie obtained an MA in Law (Jurisprudence) from St Edmund Hall, Oxford University.

Prior to joining Longview in 2018, Jim spent three years at GCP, a private equity fund. Before this, Jim worked at Fidelity Investments for three years as a Fixed Income analyst.

Prior to joining Fidelity Investments, Jim trained as an accountant at KPMG.

Jim obtained his MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and his BA in History and French from Durham University.

Prior to joining Longview in 2021, Matt spent six years at Livingbridge, a UK focused mid-market private equity fund.

Before this, Matt worked as a strategy consultant at PwC performing commercial diligence on investment targets.

Matt obtained a BA in Biological Sciences from Pembroke College, Oxford University.

Prior to joining Longview in 2020, Khalid completed internships at J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank in their respective Equity Research divisions.

He obtained an MSc in Management from London Business School, and a BA in History from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Having joined Longview in 2005, Murat spent 15 years as part of Longview’s Business Optimisation and Portfolio Risk Analysis Team, before moving to join the Research Team in the role of Research Data Analytics in 2021.

Murat obtained an MSc in Operational Research from The London School of Economics.

Murat also obtained a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a BSc in Mathematics from Bogazici University, Turkey.
